Strong Reviews from the Pros on Mirrolac-Speed™

Contrary to the old adage, oil and water do mix … at least as far as the new Mirrolac-Speed™ is concerned. While the product information package extols the benefits of this oil-latex hybrid paint, nothing replaces feedback from people working with the product in the field. Review the following testimonials that support the claims of the product literature: Mirrolac-Speed™ combines the benefits of both oil and latex paints into one product.

“Ever since adding Mirrolac-Speed™ Enamel to our line of Fuller O'Brien® Paints, we have had rave reviews from our commercial and maintenance customers. We have a large percentage of the Waikiki hotel maintenance business, as well as many commercial buildings in Honolulu … Mirrolac-Speed™ saves our customers time and money! The benefits include its fast drying time, oil finish, and low odor, and not having to convert completely from oil to latex paints. The fact that it can be applied to almost any surface is a definite plus. It is a super door opener for any new account.”

“We brought Mirrolac-Speed™ into our line about a year ago, and it since has been a good seller. Contractors are loyal to brands, so product samples were beneficial when the product was first introduced and positive word of mouth among contractors has helped, also. As far as the actual paint, Mirrolac-Speed™ adheres well. Since it sets up quickly, you have to know what you are doing. It sprays out beautifully, levels well, and dries very hard. In fact, it has the true sign of a good paint … it is difficult to get off your fingernails after using it!”

“We have been carrying Mirrolac-Speed™ since ICI introduced the product. I see the product benefits being that it covers any clean oil or latex substrate and it gives oil-based paint characteristics: Hard finish and washable. But it also has the application characteristics of a latex paint: It cleans up with soap and water, and decreases project costs with its quick drying time, allowing for several recoats in a day.

“We have applied Mirrolac-Speed™ paint in the store and it sprays beautifully and rolls and brushes nicely. We sell a lot of it to Brigham-Young University where it is applied in dorms, offices, and corridors. Wherever they used to use alkyds, they now use this paint, because it dries quickly, overcoats anything, and has low odor. It is my hope that in the near future, there won’t be a need for oil-based paint, and it will be replaced with Mirrolac-Speed™.”
